Competition Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern all prize competitions promoted by CCV Group Ltd. By entering any CCV competition — whether by paid online entry or free postal entry — you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and any competition-specific rules displayed on the relevant competition page.

Important: These terms are provided in draft form and should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before any paid competitions are conducted. Nothing in these terms constitutes legal advice.

1. Promoter

The promoter of all CCV competitions is CCV Group Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (Company No. SC895337).

CCV Group Ltd
Unit 16 Midfield Drive
Kirkcaldy
Fife, KY1 3LW
Scotland
Email: [email protected]

2. Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents aged 18 and over only.
  • Employees, directors, officers and contractors of CCV Group Ltd, and their immediate family members (spouse, civil partner, parent, sibling, child), are not eligible to enter.
  • By entering, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements. CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet the requirements.
  • Entries made on behalf of another person, or by automated means, are not permitted and will be void.

3. Competition Period

Each competition has an opening date and a closing date or a sell-out trigger, as stated on the individual competition page. Entries received outside the competition period will not be valid. Advertised closing dates and draw dates will not be extended solely to increase ticket sales. CCV Group Ltd may only amend a competition period in exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control (for example, a technical failure affecting the ability to accept entries, or a force majeure event), and only where doing so is consistent with fair treatment of all entrants and applicable law. Any such amendment will be communicated promptly. The guaranteed draw date commitment set out in Section 8 applies in all cases.

4. How to Enter — Paid Online Entry

Paid entries may be purchased via the CCV website at ccvgroupltd.co.uk/competitions using Stripe secure payment. The ticket price per entry is displayed on the individual competition page.

  • Entries are only valid after a confirmed successful payment. Failed, cancelled or abandoned payments do not create valid entries.
  • You will receive an email confirmation of your entry numbers after successful payment. Please retain this for your records.
  • The maximum number of paid entries per person per competition is stated on the competition page. Entries in excess of this limit will be void and refunded.

5. Free Postal Entry

A free postal entry route is available for every CCV competition. No purchase is necessary to enter by post. Free postal entries are treated equally to paid entries in the draw.

  • You may submit up to the same maximum number of entries per person permitted for paid online entrants for the relevant competition.
  • Each postal entry must be submitted in a separate envelope. Multiple entries in a single envelope will be treated as one entry.
  • Each entry must include: your full name, date of birth, full UK postal address, email address, telephone number, the competition name or reference number, and a statement that you are a UK resident aged 18 or over.
  • Postal entries must be received by CCV Group Ltd before the competition closing date. CCV Group Ltd accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post.
  • Full requirements and the postal address are set out on the Free Postal Entry page.

6. Entry Numbers & Confirmation

Each valid entry — whether paid or free postal — receives a unique entry number for that specific competition. Entry numbers are:

  • Allocated sequentially after confirmation of a valid entry.
  • Emailed to the entrant at the address provided.
  • Permanently recorded in CCV Group Ltd's systems and retained for audit purposes.

If you do not receive an entry confirmation email within 24 hours of entering, please contact us at [email protected] before the competition closes.

7. Entry Limits

Each competition has a stated maximum number of entries per person, displayed prominently on the competition page. This limit applies across all entry methods combined. CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to cancel and refund entries that exceed the stated limit.

8. The Draw

The winner is selected by a documented random selection process from all valid entries at the time of the draw. The draw mechanism uses server-side random number generation and is not influenced by any human selection.

  • Sell-out draw: If all available entries are allocated before the stated draw date, the draw will take place within 7 days of sell-out.
  • Guaranteed draw date: If not all entries are allocated by the stated draw date, the draw will still take place on that date from all valid entries received up to that point.
  • CCV Group Ltd may livestream draws on social media. The full entrant list is recorded and retained for audit purposes.
  • Completed draw results are published in the Winners & Draw Centre.

9. Prizes

  • The prize for each competition is as stated on the individual competition page.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available unless specifically stated on the competition page.
  • Where a cash alternative is offered, the amount is stated on the competition page. The winner must elect to take the cash alternative within 7 days of being notified.
  • CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
  • Prize delivery is to UK mainland addresses only unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs are covered by CCV Group Ltd unless otherwise stated.

10. Winner Notification & Claiming

  • The winner will be contacted by email at the address provided at entry within 48 hours of the draw.
  • The winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim their prize. The winner may be required to provide proof of identity and age.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner.
  • Physical prizes will be dispatched within a reasonable time after the winner has been confirmed and delivery details verified.

11. Unclaimed Prizes

If a prize remains unclaimed after the 14-day response window and any subsequent redraw process, CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to dispose of the prize at its discretion, including by donation to charity or use in a future competition.

12. Cancellation & Postponement

CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to cancel or postpone a competition in exceptional circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In the event of cancellation before the draw:

  • All paid entrants will receive a full refund of their entry fees.
  • CCV Group Ltd will notify entrants by email as soon as reasonably practicable.
  • CCV Group Ltd will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by a cancellation or postponement beyond the refund of entry fees.

13. Refunds

Entries are only allocated after confirmed successful payment. Once a valid entry has been allocated and the competition is live, entry fees are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • The competition is cancelled by CCV Group Ltd before the draw (see Section 12).
  • Entries are allocated in excess of the per-person limit — the excess entries will be refunded.
  • A confirmed payment is subsequently reversed by the payment processor due to fraud or error — the associated entries will be removed from the draw.

Refund requests outside these circumstances will be considered at CCV Group Ltd's sole discretion. To request a refund, contact [email protected].

14. Disqualification

CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Does not meet the eligibility requirements.
  • Provides false, inaccurate or misleading information.
  • Attempts to enter by automated means or in a manner not permitted by these Terms.
  • Engages in any conduct that CCV Group Ltd reasonably considers to be fraudulent, abusive or harmful.
  • Exceeds the maximum entry limit for a competition.

Disqualified entrants will not receive a refund of entry fees unless the disqualification is due to a CCV Group Ltd error.

15. Publicity

Winners may be asked to participate in publicity activity related to the competition, including being named on the CCV website and social media channels. Participation in publicity is voluntary. Winners may opt out of public identification by notifying CCV Group Ltd at the time of claiming their prize.

16. Data Protection & Privacy

CCV Group Ltd processes entrant personal data in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data collected at entry is used for:

  • Administering the competition and allocating entry numbers.
  • Contacting the winner and facilitating prize delivery.
  • Complying with legal obligations, including audit and record-keeping requirements.

Personal data is not sold to third parties. For full details of how we handle your data, your rights and how to exercise them, please see our Privacy Policy.

17. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCV Group Ltd excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from participation in a competition, except where such loss or damage is caused by CCV Group Ltd's negligence or fraud.

CCV Group Ltd is not responsible for any technical failures, network issues or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control that affect entry or the conduct of a competition.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

18. Responsible Play

CCV Group Ltd is committed to promoting responsible participation. Please only spend what you can afford. If you are concerned about your spending or participation habits, please visit our Responsible Play page for guidance and support resources.

CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to restrict or refuse entry to any person where it has reasonable grounds to believe that participation may be harmful to that person.

19. Complaints

If you have a complaint about a CCV competition, please contact us in the first instance at [email protected] with full details. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 5 working days and to resolve them within 28 days. For our full complaints procedure, see the Complaints Procedure page.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

CCV Group Ltd competitions are structured to provide both a paid entry route and a free entry route. They are intended to operate in accordance with applicable UK law, including the Gambling Act 2005. CCV Group Ltd does not hold a gambling licence and does not represent that its competitions constitute licensable gambling activity.

21. Changes to These Terms

CCV Group Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current version, with the date of last update, will always be available at this URL. Where changes are material, CCV Group Ltd will endeavour to notify entrants by email. Continued participation in competitions after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
